SRC launched a new program for Aboriginal post-secondary students that will provide opportunities for them to develop skills and gain real-world experience in their studies and future careers.
SRC’s Aboriginal Mentorship Program aims to connect First Nations, Inuit and Métis post-secondary students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with SRC mentors in the same or similar disciplines to help students take their education and work experience to the next level. Students connect with an SRC mentor throughout the school year and gain practical experience through a summer job with SRC.
