SRC is currently reimagining the Indigenous Workforce Program, formerly the Aboriginal Mentorship Program (AMP), and is in conversation with educational institutions and training and development organizations to build a robust program. SRC plans to hire some Indigenous students to learn from that experience and understand current student realities to create a stronger program moving forward.
At SRC, we value the positive, long-term relationships we have with Indigenous communities, and we’re dedicated to participating in and supporting initiatives that can benefit Indigenous people.
SRC is committed to fostering Indigenous participation in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines by supporting students as they progress through their post-secondary education with opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
The program aims to connect Indigenous post-secondary students in the STEM disciplines with SRC mentors to help them take their education and experience to the next level.
