Environmental Analytical Laboratories

As one of Canada’s most complete analytical chemistry laboratories, SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories offers environmental test services and expertise in organics, inorganics and radiochemistry for companies in mining, oil and gas, industry and agriculture, as well as consultants, government agencies and municipalities.

Our team of chemists and technologists are available to provide fast and reliable solutions to analytical problems. We can also provide information on how to prepare and handle samples, and supply sample containers and preservatives free of charge.

SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories will be closed from Thursday, December 25, 2025, to Monday, January 5, 2026. The lab will also close early on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 3 p.m.

We will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Please note these important analysis restrictions:

  • Thursday, December 18: last day we will accept samples for BOD analysis
  • Monday, December 22: last day we will accept samples for Fecal Strep and/or Plate Count analysis
  • Tuesday, December 23: last day we will accept samples for Total Coliform/E. coli and Fecal Coliform analysis
  • Tuesday, December 30: open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for Total Coliform/E.coli and Fecal Coliform samples

Please arrange for suitable delivery of these samples as SRC is not responsible for samples that arrive outside these hours.

SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories offers a Permit to Operate (PTO) program, designed to provide Saskatchewan municipalities with an easy way to stay compliant with their Water Security Agency permit. The PTO program offers exclusive discounts for a variety of routine and additional analyses.

SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories’ reception area is open to the general public. 

Regular Business Hours: Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Our exterior door will open at 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m. for sample drop-off and pre-arranged supply pick up.)

To reach the front entrance, you will need to use the sidewalk on the north side of the Atrium building. There is convenient sample drop-off parking near our front entrance, as well as parking meters around the Atrium building.
